About the role

You will be working closely with magicians - our other engineers, product and design team as well as backend and native app engineers to implement efficient and reliable solutions that deliver exceptional user experiences. The product is in its early stage, but is no Greenfield project. You will be required to quickly familiarise yourself and become proficient with the codebase and architecture. You will work with a modern tech stack to build out the web experience of the iloveit brand and app.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of frontend web development using a modern JavaScript web
• framework like Svelte, React or Angular. We use Typescript where we can.

• Good understanding of modern DOM APIs, web standards and vanilla HTML and CSS.
• Experience interfacing with GraphQL APIs
• Experience deploying web projects on platforms like Vercel, Netlify or similar
• Experience with Tailwind or other modern CSS Frameworks.
• Familiarity with modern design tools like Figma
• Expertise in setting up CI/CD pipelines for verifying code quality
• Proficiency in automated testing (e.g., Vitest or Jest and Playwright)

Desirable /Bonus skills

• Experience with Svelte and SvelteKit
• Familiarity with TailwindCSS
• Background in developing e-commerce or social networking applications
• Enthusiasm for ML, LLMs or other AI technologies
• Well-rounded development experience, including full-stack, iOS / Android, or backend technologies
